Terms of Service

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@resigrade.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not create accounts on behalf of another person without their authorization, use automated means to create accounts, or share your account with others.

Your content. You retain ownership of reviews, ratings, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant ResiGrade a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

Accuracy and honesty. You represent that your reviews reflect your genuine, firsthand experience and honest opinion. You may not submit reviews for buildings where you have not resided or with which you have no direct experience, submit fake or misleading reviews, or post reviews on behalf of another person or as part of an organized effort.

Prohibited content. You may not submit User Content that:

• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any individual.
• Contains personal information about private individuals without their consent.
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property right.
• Is false, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading.
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Contains spam, advertisements, or promotional material.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is otherwise harmful to the Platform or its users.

Building owners, property managers, and authorized representatives may claim entity profiles on ResiGrade. By submitting a claim, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the entity and that all information you provide is accurate.

Approved claimants may edit certain fields on their entity profile (such as description, amenities, and policies) and upload photos. All submitted photos are subject to review before appearing publicly. ResiGrade reserves the right to remove content that does not meet our standards or that misrepresents the entity.

Claiming a profile does not give you the right to remove, edit, or influence resident reviews. Review content is governed exclusively by ResiGrade's moderation policies.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform in bulk without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or the servers or networks connected to it.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the Platform to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

The Platform and all content, features, and functionality provided by ResiGrade (excluding User Content) are owned by ResiGrade and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use any ResiGrade trademark, logo, or other proprietary information without our prior written consent.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Reviews on ResiGrade represent the opinions of individual users and do not constitute professional advice. We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted reviews beyond our standard moderation process. You should conduct your own due diligence before making any residential or investment decisions.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESIGRADE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or that your account poses a risk to the Platform or other users.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at legal@resigrade.com. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
